Paradise Inn is one of the restaurants branding under the Paradise Groups which we visit at least once a month as it provides a conducive environment for family dining. I would NOT recommend hosting my overseas guests in their restaurants due to the the servicing quantity which is not too “presentable, even with their quality food.
Reason:
I would visit my girlfriend and her family in Jakarta, Indonesia every year. During the annual trip there, her family would host me to dine at many delicious food locations and their servicing quantity is really huge and good (even for a pax of 1-2). A couple of years back, we decided to bring my girlfriend and her husband to Seafood Paradise (another branding under the Paradise Groups) located at Singapore Flyers to try their famous Butter Crabs and other delicacy. Since we are the hosts, we wanted to look good so we ordered every dishes in Large sizes, said to served about 4-6 pax. But when the food were served, I literally had a “heart attack” as the serving quantity for Large is so “miserable” and for our guests, it literally look as though we ordered a share for 2-3 pax. Honestly, I was pretty “embarrassment” and since then, I had never suggested events at their restaurants.
Of course, that “fateful” incident did not stop us from patronising them for a family meal. Paradise Inn is well-known for their soups and our regular MUST order soup is their Spare Ribs with Pumpkin and Dried Oyster Soup.
